3 1/2 inch gauge GWR Hall 4-6-0

A 3 1/2 inch gauge GWR 4-6-0, No.7918 "Rhose Wood Hall".

An older engine that appears unsteamed in recent years, we're really taken with this one. An elegant design to start with - courtesy Charles Collett - the model has been beautifully made and nicely detailed.

Turned out in lined Great Western green livery, the paintwork has a beautiful vintage patina, presenting very well but without looking straight out of the paint shop.

The commercially built boiler by Chambers of Weymouth has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued; the chassis runs exceptionally well on air.

The perfect size for display in the house, alternatively - with some recommissioning - it would make a handsome performer on the track.
