Work to date is to a good standard, the project apparently having stalled at an early stage of making the boiler, which currently comprises a barrel and outer wrapper.
Missing its axlebox springs, the chassis turns over freely when upside down - with new springs fitted we suspect it would run on air.
The tender is largely complete, the body loosely fitted to the chassis.
