3 1/2 inch gauge Lilla castings

A quantity of unmachined castings for a 3 1/2 inch gauge Hunslet 0-4-0ST to Ross Harrison's "Lilla" design.

An attractive size, usefully larger than the "Alice" class Quarry Hunslets - the original engine was saved for preservation by the indefatigable Bernard Latham - a man responsible for saving a number of narrow gauge locomotives - who rebuilt it in his back garden.

In later years, the engine was sold to a syndicate at the Ffestiniog Railway, where it has lived ever since.
