3 1/2 inch gauge LMS 2-6-4T

A 3 1/2 inch gauge LMS 2-6-4T to Martin Evans' "Jubilee" design, the work of an experienced model engineer and apparently only test-steamed once or twice - both firebox and smokebox show little sign of use.

The engine runs on air in both directions with crisp exhaust beats. There is minor play in the coupling rods; fit and finish of the the rest of the motionwork and valve gear is good.

The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued.

The pressure gauge required replacement - it's pessimistic, reading 80psi at a true 90psi.

We would expect some initial commissioning work for steam, as required by pretty much any newly completed engine (including those we build ourselves!).
