3 1/2 inch gauge LMS 2-6-4T

A 3 1/2 inch gauge LMS 2-6-4T to Martin Evans' "Jubilee" design. This one was started 47 years ago, progress has been fairly steady to date. With advancing years, the builder has decided that time has come to pass it on.

Work to date comprises a well advanced chassis with most motion work and valve gear fitted, along with a pair of axle pumps - underneath the grime, work to date is to a good standard.

Loose parts include castings for grate, chimney, dome, top clack cover, smokebox door and front ring, along with some parts for the brake gear.

The copper boiler has neatly flanged plates, firebox stays are nutted and calked - commonly seen in this design, however not often with quite this amount of solder...

Front tubeplate is silver soldered to a decent standard, backhead appears to have had less than its fair share of solder.
