A finely built 3 1/2 inch gauge LMS 3F "Jinty", the work of an accomplished builder with several locomotives to his credit, including the magnificent Britannia "Apollo" which we sold recently.
Standard of workmanship is good throughout, fit and finish of machined parts is to a high standard with neatly formed and painted platework.
The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued. The chassis rolls freely although, with a seized regulator, hasn't been test run on air.
Requiring light restoration, a worthwhile project with the potential to produce a fine example of this handsome design.
