3 1/2 inch gauge LNWR 2-2-2-0 Teutonic compound

A 3 12 inch gauge LNWR 2-2-2-0 to LBSC's "Jeanie Deans" design, based on Webb's Teutonic Compounds of the late nineteenth century.

As with the full-sized engines, the low pressure inside cylinder drives the leading driving wheelset with valve actuated by slip eccentric gear, the two high pressure outside cylinders drive the rear wheelset, their valves mounted underneath the cylinders, actuated by Joy gear.

The boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued. The engine steams freely and runs, although requires attention to the safety valve, which accumulates. The top water gauge fitting is piped from the fountain - not ideal, as turning on the injector causes a false reading in the glass.

Rather unusual and technically interesting. In running order, it requires some TLC to bring it back up to scratch.
