3 1/2 inch gauge LMS Mogul

A 3 1/2 inch gauge LMS Mogul to LBSC's "Princess Marina" design. A well-built engine, this one really impressed us on test - it makes steam like it's going out of fashion and runs well in both directions with good even exhaust beats.

Everything works as it should: injector, steam brake, even the steam operated drain cocks (which is quite an achievement on something this size).

Paintwork is "working clothes" flat black, with some paint loss on the boiler cladding. From the lack of holes or any sort of fixing arrangement, it appears the cab has never had a roof, possibly to facilitate access to the backhead.

There's a short clip of the engine running on the rolling road here.
