3 1/2 inch gauge "Mona" 0-6-2T

A commercially built boiler by Bishop-Ellis, unmachined castings, platework, drawings and a copy of LBSC's construction articles for his 3 1/2 inch gauge "Mona" 0-6-2T design, serialised in "Model Maker" magazine.

For those not familiar with the design, there are pictures in the archive, including this one which we sold back in 2022.

We are indebted to Steve Jones - a locomotive builder of repute whose work we esteem - for providing the drawing from LBSC's "words and music", explaining the indentation in the bottom of the boiler barrel, required to clear the Hackworth valve gear specified for this inside cylinder design.
