3 1/2 inch gauge "Mountaineer" chassis

Rather a sad ending to a nicely made Alco 2-6-2T chassis built to Don Young's "Mountaineer" design. Lots of good quality work done before, on the builder's demise, it was left in poor storage. It's currently seized - although with gunmetal cylinders it's unlikely to be a major job to free off - and there is a good deal of muck and surface rust on the brightwork - it needs to come apart completely at this point. That said, the rust is superficial enough to clean off, there is a fine chassis underneath awaiting the build to be restarted.
