3 1/2 inch gauge part-built Southern Q1 0-6-0

A 3 1/2 inch gauge Southern Q1 0-6-0, Bulleid's austerity design built during the war. There's one preserved in the National Collection at York - as a boy I thought it was the ugliest thing ever, as I've got older I find increasingly the function forgives the form.

This one has a commercially built, CE-marked copper boiler by Western Steam. Chassis is well-advanced, much of the platework for locomotive and tender has been finished.
