An exceptionally well-built Caledonian Railway 0-6-0T to Martin Evans' "Rob Roy" design, one of the finest we've seen.

The work of an extraordinarily talented engineer, the man responsible for the Standard Class 5, Hawthorn Leslie 0-6-0ST, American 2-8-0 and Southern King Arthur we've recently sold.

In excellent condition throughout, fit and finish of motionwork and valve gear is to the highest standard, platework is neatly formed.

Boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued, the engine has been run on air - in deference to it's "ex-works" condition and immaculate paintwork we have resisted the temptation to steam it.
