3 1/2 inch gauge Southern Railway "King Arthur" 4-6-0

The finest 3 1/2 inch gauge engine we've had since 2006, when we bought the late Frederick Robinson's Black 5.

Now, as then, there's nothing I can write about the engine that Claire's pictures opposite don't more eloquently convey. Suffice to say that this is the kind of engineering we - and probably everybody else - would like to do in a world with unlimited time, money and ability.
