3 1/2 inch gauge Stanier 2-6-4T

Offered as a running restoration, the boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued and is warrantied as sound. The chassis runs on air in either direction.

Work required includes:

• Motion brackets loose on both sides
• Play in motionwork bushes and centre axleboxes/horns
• One axlebox spring missing on right hand side
• Injector clack leaks back - this will need reseating, the leak would prevent the injector working
• Bottom gauge glass seals leaking, require replacement
• Blocked blowdown valve needs stripping and cleaning
• Replace missing brake handle
• Replace missing lubricator
• Minor leak from bottom gauge fitting threads - remove, seal and refit
