An older engine, decently made in the first place although apparently not run in a long time. The chassis was stiff to turn over on arrival; with an oil round and some coaxing it could be persuaded to run in forward gear in fairly desultory fashion, not at all in reverse.
Boiler has leaks from a couple of firebox stays and the wet header bolts, but appears dry otherwise.
