3 1/2 inch gauge "Tich" 0-4-0T

A 3 1/2 inch gauge "Tich" with slip eccentric valve gear and Belpaire firebox boiler.

An older engine, it runs on air with some leakage pass pistons and valves. The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test which showed up a pinhole leak on the foundation ring which produces a steady drip, and one firebox stay which forms a drop of water every 30 seconds or so. The firebox crown is deformed, we suspect from initial test as the copper settled into shape - its supported by girder stays.

I can't remember having had another Belpaire boiler Tich - unusual although not unknown, LBSC himself building a Tich thus fitted.
