3 1/2 inch gauge "Virginia" 4-4-0

A finely built early American 4-4-0 to LBSC's popular "Virginia" design - built as one of a pair by an experienced builder, its sibling has been running around for the last twenty years, this one was only finished off earlier this year, it's new and unsteamed.

Silver soldered copper boiler, nutted and calked firebox stays, 80psi working pressure. Feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
