A 3 1/2 inch gauge "Virginia", LBSC's take on the nineteenth century "Wild West" 4-4-0s of North America. This one has come to us from the late builder's sister - she remembers her brother completing it over thirty years ago, since when it's sat on display in the house they shared.

Unsteamed from new, it's liberally covered in dust, brightwork has surface rust which would come off with elbow grease and some Scotchbrite.
