3 inch scale Atkinson steam wagon

An early stage 3 inch scale Atkinson steam wagon to Ray Prime's design. Work to date has been done to a good standard and comprises:

• Chassis with cast wheels, rubber tyres, back axle with sprocket and springing.

• Shell of engine, machined crankcase, cylinders

• Piston rings

• Cylinder heads

• Welded water tank

• Castings for boiler top, ring and grate, coal shute

• Cab floor and front formed

• Steering screw and nut

• Part machined valve gear bevel boxes

• Brake stand with screw and nut

Had several of these over the years - they go very well, by far and away the most sophisticated of the steam wagons we see, very quiet, smooth engines with a surprising turn of speed.
