3 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine

A collection of machined parts, assemblies and material for a 3 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine to the Plastow design.

Work to date is to an exceptional standard throughout - the pictures tell the story on this one, it comprises:

• Erected crankbox with hornplates, crankshaft, flywheel, eccentric straps and steering shaft with worm wheel
• Cylinder assembly, requiring final machining of steam ports
• Weighshaft bracket, weighshaft and lifting links
• Front end assembly - smokebox assembly, perch bracket, front axle and wheels
• Rear wheels & pins
• Chimney cap
• Gear blanks, machined and broached
• Reverser, regulator & brake stands
• Governor
• Whistle
• Flanged copper boiler plates, tubes and barrel
• Miscellaneous small parts
• Drawings

An excellent start for anybody wanting to build one of these very popular engines, saving a good deal of work and allowing the rest of the engine to be built on modest size machinery.
