3 inch scale freelance traction engine

A well built 3 inch scale traction engine, with similarities to a 6nhp Burrell although it's a slightly larger, four shaft engine.

Professionally built silver-soldered copper boiler by R.Chambers, 80psi working pressure, feed by mechanical pump. Twin safety valves. Water gauge with blowdown. Cylinder drain cocks operated from footplate, mechanical cylinder lubricator.

Single cylinder engine with Stephenson's reversing gear, four shaft configuration with two road speeds, brake and winch behind left hand rear wheel with tender-mounted fairleads for winch cable. Rubber tyres.
