4 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine

A new 4 inch scale Burrell, built from a Steam Traction World kit and steamed once to test it - the builder is more interested in workshop projects than the rally field. It's been well put together and nicely painted, it was running in the yard this afternoon for its first steam test - there's some video here.

Welded steel CE-marked boiler, expanded tubes. 120psi working pressure, feed by injector and mechanical pump. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser. Mechanical lubricator, Pickering type governor and bell-type whistle mounted on the cylinder block. Three shaft, two speed transmimssion with differential, bonded rubber tyres to road wheels. Winch mounted behind nearside rear wheel, fairleads on tender.
