4 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine

A 4 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine, assembled from a commercially-machined kit, with CE-marked boiler.

This one has come to us from a man still building models well into his eighth decade - having recently decided that the days of manhandling a half ton engine are behind him, he's moved on to miniatures of a more manageable size.

The engine is in good mechanical order - from the condition of tyres, gears and bearings it appears to have had little use and careful maintenance.

Complete with tender-mounted seat and footrests which provide a comfortable driving position, along with a large passenger trolley on pneumatic tyres with storage space for coal and other sundry equipment.
