4 inch scale Burrell DCC road locomotive

A part-built 4 inch scale Burrell DCC road locomotive, to the Live Steam Models design and using their castings.

Work to date includes:

• Boiler by Franklin and Bell with paperwork
• Mounted hornplates with machined Cannon Brackets, 2nd shaft and axle
• Machined one-piece crankshaft with gears, eccentric inners and flywheel
• Cylinder block machined by LSM, complete with safety valves and Pickering governor
• Pistons and piston rods
• Valves and valve rods
• Front and rear wheels
• Smokebox, perch bracket, axle, springs, chimney with base
• Water pump
• Clack valves
• Weighshaft bracket
• Castings including fire bars, crossheads, steering wheel, brake wheel
