32/45mm gauge Roundhouse "William" 0-6-0 tender locomotive

A "William" by Roundhouse Engineering, based on their earlier "Billy" 0-4-0T inspired by Orenstein & Koppel designs of the 1920s. Produced between 1995 and 2007, "William" was designed as an 0-6-0 with tender.

Recently arrived, this engine is currently set for running on 45mm track, however wheelsets are gauge adjustable to 32mm.

Gas-fired and fitted with 2.4GHz radio control, the running gear features Roundhouse's "simplified Walschaerts" gear, which works well and has a reputation for reliability.
