5 inch gauge 2-6-2 steam outline

A 5 inch gauge 2-6-2 steam outline with GWR aspirations, built from a leftover Simplex chassis.

The tender is the powered unit, with two Unite MY1016 motors chain driving the front and back axles. A pair of 12V batteries are stored in the water space.

Of basic construction, it's got nothing by way of ancillaries, though with the entire boiler space of the locomotive going spare there's plenty of room to play with adding additional gadgets if desired.
