5 inch gauge AME 3 foot driving truck

A 5 inch gauge ground-level driving truck from Abbots Model Engineering - an older model, this one has a wooden body rather than the new all-steel version.

This one's come to us from a serial AME collector, along with a 2 1/2 foot driving truck and a Neptune 3 - as you might expect when the designer and manufacturer is also chairman of your local club, the whole outfit has been kept in excellent condition.
