5 inch gauge BR 9F 2-10-0 parts & castings

A large quantity of parts, castings and material to build a 5 inch gauge BR 9F 2-10-0 "Evening Star".

As is often the way with workshop clearouts, this project has accumulated a number of "extras" in the form of a couple of odd-looking eccentric rods and an unfeasible number of pony wheels for a 2-10-0, but the majority of the castings, laser-cut cab kit and drawings were bought new for the project and are of known provenance.

With advancing years the builder has come to realise that, having built a good number of 5 inch gauge locomotives, gauge 1 is now the future (having just complete his first in this scale, a Black 5 which you can carry under one arm in a shoe box!)
