5 inch gauge BR Standard Class 7 "Britannia"

A well-advanced 5 inch gauge "Britannia", this one has come to us from a long-time customer, a prolific model engineer now in his ninth decade.

With a move just completed to a magnificent new house, and the workshop up and running again, he has decided to concentrate all his efforts on his 5 inch gauge "Duchess" which has been on the for more years than he cares to remember!

We'd put the Britannia at about 80% complete. Boiler was supplied new by GB Boilers, the chassis rolls freely. Work to complete includes reverser, pipework, boiler fittings and paintwork.
