5 inch gauge Class 27

A finely put together Class 27 battery-electric. The builder had already produced two fine engines with his Britannia and Polly III – this one was finished in the same way and has seen only light use, spending most of its time parked in the workshop beneath the custom-made cover you see below, it remains in pretty much as-new condition.

Underneath the body are a pair of 12 volt lead acid batteries, the bogies are fitted with two motors each, the 4QD controller has a detachable remote hand controller. A sound card is fitted driving a pair of speakers.
