5 inch gauge Class 37 "Great Rocks" battery-electric

A 5 inch gauge Class 37, No.37688 - the original locomotive was built at Vulcan Works in 1963 and, after a working life of over fifty years, was sold for preservation in 2017, when, repainted into Trainload Construction Livery, it was renamed "Great Rocks".

A highly detailed, scratch-built model of all-steel construction, the locomotive is driven by a pair of 12 volt, 250 watt C5 motors, with worm drive to the bogie centre axles and from there toothed belt drive to the other axles.

The locomotive runs in both directions, it has a pair of horns and single white light at the front. Complete with remote handset, it will require a pair of batteries.

Complete with a purpose-built steel storage stand.
