5 inch gauge Compass House 0-4-0 dock shunter

A 5 inch gauge Compass House dock shunter, a substantially built locomotive weighing in at the best part of a hundredweight whose size belies its performance, the previous owner assuring us it was good for hauling four adults around his club track.

The locomotive is fitted with a pair of 24V motors - one per axle - with 4QD VTX 75-24 controller and sound card. Power is supplied by a pair of 12V 35Ah batteries.

Fitted with cab-mounted horn switch and battery voltage indicator.
