5 inch gauge GWR 15XX 0-6-0PT

A well-built 5 inch gauge GWR 15XX to LBSC's "Speedy" design, the engine has come to us from a prolific retired engineer, responsible for a number of traction engines and locomotives as well as several classic car restorations - he's currently well on with a pair of 7 1/4 inch narrow gauge locomotives, as well as rebuilding a Triumph TR6. We recently sold the large petrol-hydraulic shunter he'd built, along with a 3 inch scale traction engine.

This engine has been in regular use at the owner's club, his advancing years have restricted its outings for the last few years. It's come to us with presentable paint, a rather nice patina and good mechanicals - the engine steams up quickly and runs well.
