5 inch gauge GWR 4575 Prairie

A 5 inch gauge GWR 4575 small Prairie, a nicely built and well-detailed model, right down to the sight feed lubricator with regulator-linked atomiser valve and condensing coil in the cab roof. An older model, it's obviously been run in the past, it remains in good mechanical order, fit and finish of the machining is good throughout.

Steel boiler with brazed tubes, four element flue tube superheater. Feed by crosshead pump with bypass and injector. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser in cab. Displacement lubricator with sight feeder, condensing coil on fountain. Steam brake.
