5 inch gauge GWR Castle with Ellis boiler

An early stage 5 inch gauge GWR "Castle" comprising laser cut frames, unmachined gunmetal inner and outer cylinder castings, bogie frames and wheels and sundry other small castings. Immaculate silver-soldered copper boiler is by the estimable John Ellis.

There are a set of well-machined driving wheels for a "King" which are about 3/16 of an inch smaller than a Castles in this scale, along with drawings for same.
