5 inch gauge GWR Manor 4-6-0

A 5 inch gauge GWR Manor 4-6-0 to the Martin Evans design.

It's come to us in part-exchange from a chap who himself bought it as a restoration job - once complete, quite why it was dismantled has been lost to the mists of time.

The chassis rolls freely, though is missing the RHS gudgeon pin. Workmanship on the chassis is crude; the Allen bolts used as wheel keys are an interesting choice...

The boiler looks well-made and has obviously been steamed in the past, but the threads in the fountain bush are badly worn - it will need tapping out for a new fitting before a hydraulic test can be undertaken.

There's a quantity of parts to complete including cab and cladding sheets, though no sign of the front bogie.
