5 inch gauge GWR Railcar

A 5 inch gauge GWR Railmotor; scratchbuilt, with steel bodywork and chassis, it's well-detailed throughout.

Powered by four Fasco motors gear driven to the axles, the 4QD 24 volt controller has a remote handset for driving. Just fitted with a pair of new 60Ah batteries, it runs well.

Dashboard at the driver's end of the locomotive houses on/off switch, buttons for the pair of high/low horns, voltmeter and ammeter.
