5 inch gauge Liverpool & Manchester Railway "Lion"

A 5 inch gauge Liverpool & Manchester Railway "Lion", known to everybody of my generation as "Titfield Thunderbolt" and built to the thus-named LBSC design.

. An engine we sold some years ago to a long-time customer of ours, it's recently come back in with a large collection of other locomotives and stationary engines due to a change in his circumstances.

Repainted since last here, it's missing the ashpan but is otherwise complete. Boiler has a recent twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued, the chassis runs on air.
