5 inch gauge LMS "Crab" 2-6-0

A 5 inch gauge LMS "Crab" 2-6-0, to the Don Young design. Rather a rare model, we've had few over the years in any gauge, which is surprising given their highly distinctive, powerful look.

Work to date is to a good standard and comprises a close to air-running stage chassis, platework, smokebox assembly and silver soldered copper boiler.

There are a set of tender frames, along with a box of loose parts including:

• stainless steel superheaters
• firehole door assembly
• pair of new injectors
• cab roof and spectacles
• tender wheels and springs
• drawings and copies of construction articles
