5 inch gauge LMS "Jubilee"

A well-advanced 5 inch gauge LMS "Jubilee". Built to the highly-detailed Allcock design, it's the work of an experienced model engineer with Britannias in 3 1/2 and 5 inch gauge, an Allchin traction engine and fine triple expansion steam plant to his credit.

Work to date is to a high standard, fit and finish of motionwork and valve gear is good, the chassis turns over freely.

Tender is well-advanced, with chassis and part-assembled bodywork.

Parts and castings are available from Blackgates Engineering, Model Engineers Laser list many parts, including detailed profiled platework in brass for the cab.

Complete with several sheets of well-thumbed drawings.
