5 inch gauge LNER B1 4-6-0

A well-advanced 5 inch gauge LNER B1, comprising an air-running chassis, commercially built silver soldered copper boiler and painted tender.

Believed by the previous owner to have been started as a commission build by Clarksons of York - the quality is certainly good enough - the tender was finished and painted before work stopped on the locomotive.

Complete with a quantity of loose parts and copies of "Model Engineer" magazine with original construction articles.
