5 inch gauge "Maid of Kent" 4-4-0

A 5 inch gauge "Maid of Kent" 4-4-0, in outside cylinder configuration.

Something of a barn find, it came to us with no boiler paperwork. We've undertaken a hydraulic test at 160spi and observed no signs of leaks or deflection, though it will require a cladding-off inspection before use.

The chassis runs in both directions on compressed air, though both sets of drain cocks will require servicing.

The paintwork has been well-applied and must have been pleasing when new - however, the RHS cab side has suffered badly in storage and will require repainting.

Missing its ashpan and grate, but otherwise complete.
