5 inch gauge "Maid of Kent" 4-4-0

A well-built "Maid of Kent" to LBSC's design - this one dressed up in Midland Compound guise. Paintwork is getting worn in places, but the engine has a sound boiler and runs well - there's a clip of it in steam in the workshop here.

Silver soldered copper boiler, 90psi working pressure, feed by twin injectors injectors with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser in cab. Sight feed lubricator.

Complete with a pair of custom-built storage cases.
