5 inch gauge "Maid of Kent" 4-4-0

A 5 inch gauge "Maid of Kent" - this one done us as a Southern L1 with inside cylinders and Joy gear.

Same builder (and similar vintage) as the Great Eastern 2-4-0 we sold recently. It has similarly suffered in storage over the years, paintwork is shabby.

The commercially built boiler is by Chambers of Weymouth - structurally sound, although with one minor weep on a tube end which would take up under steam.

Mechanically it rolls freely and runs nicely on air in both directions.
