A well-advanced 5 inch gauge GWR small Prairie, scaled up from Martin Evans' "Firefly" design and complete with drawings and the run of "Model Engineer" magazines covering its construction.
Work to date on the chassis is to an above average standard, machining is crisply done, fit and finish of motiowork is good.
Copper boiler is complete with original club test certification for a twice working pressure hydraulic shell test.
There is a minor ding in the front section of the barrel, shown in the pictures - not unknown in new, unsteamed boilers where the copper has not had a chance to work harden.
