5 inch gauge Rail Motor 0-4-0

A 5 inch gauge Rail Motor 0-4-0 to the Don Young design.

An older engine, attractively finished and complete with four wheel tender. It's had plenty of use over the years and now requires various jobs attending to, including replacing axlebox springs and refacing a leaking regulator.

The commercially built boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued - we have some club history from 2007, apparently the last time it was tested.

The engine ran in desultory fashion on the rolling road, improved by running blocked up - new springs would improve matters.
