5 inch gauge Ride on Railways "Hercules" battery electric 0-4-0

A Ride on Railways "Hercules" battery electric bogie shunter, for our money one of the best commercial locomotives available of this type. We've had them in before, they're powerful, reliable and seemingly bullet proof.

One of a pair that came in recently, both locomotives had seen little use and remain in good condition. Fitted with a 24 volt iDrive controller, with four 150 watt motors powered by a pair of batteries, complete with remote handset.

All steel chassis and body, steel wheels. Fitted with optional quick detach battery terminals which make stripping the locomotive for transport a two minute job, breaking down into two batteries, a chassis and bodywork, all easily handled by one person.
