5 inch gauge Stanier Mogul

Whilst we regularly see Stanier Moguls in 3 1/2 inch gauge, immortalised by LBSC's popular"Princess Marina" design, we rarely see them in 5 inch gauge - you need to go back all the way to 2011 in the archive to find one.

Work to date comprises a rolling chassis, complete with some loose motionwork and valve gear components. The smokebox assembly is fitted complete with door and saddle, there is platework for cab and running boards.

The tender is largely complete, with brass superstructure.
