5 inch gauge steam outline 0-4-0 with driving truck

A robustly constructed 5 inch gauge steam outline battery electric locomotive, complete with braked driving truck.

Other than the chimney which needs replacing with something of twice the height, it's a well-proportioned model - not fine scale, it's more Island of Sodor then Great Eastern.

Unused since the builder's grandchildren grew up, it's recently been recommissioned and fitted with a new battery, which lives in the driving truck.

Useful size place to put it, but it means that all the potential adhesive weight offered by the battery sits on the tender wheels, leaving the locomotive light on its feet. To get its full power down onto the rails, some judicious ballasting of the chassis would be beneficial.
