This one came to us as part of a complete garden railway, which included half a mile of track, a dozen turnouts and a variety of rolling stock.
Recently repainted and fitted with new batteries, the locomotive is powered by four 12 volt motors - two per axle, driving through gears - with a 4QD NCC Professional 120 controller.
The remote handset has speed control and forward/reverser switch, there is a row of battery condition LEDs cunningly hidden behind the firehole door.
